Old Town Hall

La Old Town Hall è il più vecchio municipio della nazione e uno dei più antichi edifici in pietra ancora in piedi nella capitale slovacca. Ospita il più antico museo della città e possiede una torre che offre una vista incantevole sulla città vecchia. Per salire sulla torre è necessario andare all’interno del Museo di Storia della Città, che si trova all’interno del Palazzo Comunale. Prendete le scale e dopo aver superato tre piani si arriva alla cima. Dalla passerella esterna è possibile vedere gli edifici colorati del centro storico – come la piazza principale e la fontana del Roland. Inoltre si riesce a scorgere chiaramente la torre degli UFO, la Cattedrale di S. Martino ed il celebre castello. Quando poi scendete al piano terra, vi consigliamo di fare una bella passeggiata intorno alla piazza principale e le strade limitrofe dove potrete sempre trovare mercatini, concerti o altri spettacoli da strada. Vi consigliamo inoltre di vedere la piazza principale di notte. Infatti  la torre dell’orologio, così come l’intera fontana sono illuminati con delle luci che sfumano passando dal blu al viola.
