La Rambla

Montevideo sorge sulle rive del Rio de la Plata con delle spiagge quasi sempre bellissime. Nonostante l’acqua non sia azzurra, limpida, come ci si aspetta, le spiagge in sabbia, molto chiara e l’architettura, hanno fatto si che si creassero ben 22km di “avenida”, di strada, da percorrere guardando l’acqua. La Rambla si estende quindi per gran parte della costa cittadina, dando spazio a chioschi, musei, giardini e porticcioli. Partendo dal porto nazionale, raggiunge e super alcune delle zone più in, più belle della città per poi fermarsi e lasciare spazio alla natura.
Tra la strada vera e propria e la spiaggia, uno spazio di circa 3 metri permette ai cittadini di correre, scattare in bicicletta o con altri mezzi, ma anche di camminare con il proprio cane godendosi le giornate di sole: non sarà difficile camminare e fermarsi a guardare ragazzi giocare a calcio oppure a beach volley e divertirsi sorseggiando del mate.
Unica cosa negativa: la pericolosità della zona di notte: nonostante sia ben illuminata, è condivisa dai cittadini di Montevideo l’idea che di notte girino per queste zone delinquenti e si verifichino atti di microcriminalità
