Chiesa di San Giacomo
Rispetto alle altre chiese della città, quella di San Giacomo si differenza sicuramente per la sua storia piuttosto che per la sua bellezza.
Non ci permettiamo di dire che sia brutta, anzi, è interessante la differenza tra l’esterno scuro, mattonato, e l’interno chiarissimo, dove la luce riflette ovunque. Forse proprio quel mattonato esterno, scuro, quasi sporco, la rende poco appetibile agli occhi dei viaggiatori.
Una struttura che ha però secoli di storia, la prima chiesa risale infatti al 1200, successivamente distrutta e riedificata. Oggi è un esempio, non tra i migliori, di chiesa tardo gotica.
